Speed is the mode of everything in the world today. Nothing seems to wait for the other. Everything seem to be saying I'm in a hurry give me chance.
Think of it, the days our great parents used to travel and go far distances on foot has gone and gone forever.
Everyone wanting to get somewhere would look for a machine to put him on speed so as to get there and or cover long distances at the shortest possible time. If they aren't on bike, they are on motor or they are on airplane or flying/speed boat. Unless for the purpose of exercise, people detest taking a walk down to distant destinations.
Within split seconds people communicate with friends, relations and colleagues which are separated thousands of miles away these days occassioned by communication technology.
Children born these days grow at a rate that beats people's imagination. There are teenagers who have become university graduates at less than twenty years of age. My own daughter has graduated from juniour secondary education at the age of twelve. She'll use three kore years to finish her senior secondary education after which she will proceed for university education or college (as called in some countries). You could well guess at what age she'll become a graduate. I believe, there're people whose children are even at a faster speed of pursuing education than what I described here about my daughter. Whatever be your own experience, the best word to describe what is happening is speed.
The current rate at which things happen and complete is a motivating factor to what I'll be sharing on this blog. We need to do a deeper analysis of this scenario and its consequences upon our existence on earth.
